For which horse breeds is Antischubber suitable? Originally
developed for Icelandic horses, Antischubber is suitable for all horse breeds
with sensitive skin or a lot of mane and tail hair.

When is the best time to use it? Many horse owners start the care routine before the warm season — not only when rubbing becomes visible. Those who start early care consistently rather than
reactively.

Can I combine Antischubber with other Hestakofi products?
Yes. Our products are designed to work together. For holistic care, we recommend combining it with the Summer Hoof Care Lotion and the Immune Boost.

How long does one bottle last? Thanks to the applicator tip, the tonic can be used sparingly and precisely.
With 2–3 applications per week, one bottle typically lasts several
weeks.

What is the difference between the 1-liter refill pouch and the
standard bottle? The contents are identical. The refill pouch is intended for anyone who uses Antischubber consistently throughout the entire season and wishes to reduce packaging. Simply pour it into the original bottle.

Where we deliver

We currently deliver exclusively within Germany. You can also order from another country if you provide a delivery address in Germany.

In Austria, you can find our products through our partner lawau.at. For other countries, we are happy to recommend a retailer near you: simply write to us at contact@hestakofi.de.

Shipping costs

Within Germany, we charge a flat rate of €5.00 per order, including statutory VAT. You can see the shipping costs in your shopping cart before placing your order.

When your package will arrive

We hand-pack small batches and ship twice a week: on Tuesdays and Fridays. Orders received by the previous day will be shipped on the next shipping day. We ship with DHL.

Delivery takes 2 to 5 business days. This period begins the day after the contract is concluded. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays at the delivery location. If the last day of the delivery period falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, it will end on the next business day.

Products that are currently out of stock cannot be ordered from the shop. This means you can only order items that we can ship immediately.

If a package arrives damaged

If a package arrives visibly damaged, please report it directly to the courier and let us know briefly, preferably with a photo at contact@hestakofi.de. This will allow us to resolve the issue with DHL. Your statutory rights remain unaffected, even if you do not report the damage immediately. We bear the shipping risk until the package is delivered to you.

In-person pickup

Unfortunately, pickup from our workshop is not possible.

Horse skin is sensitive and often reacts to external influences such as heat, pollen, or stress. Many horses then rub themselves specifically on their mane and tail. The Hestakofi Anti-Rubbing Tonic was developed for exactly these horses: to soothe and care for the skin in these areas.

Thanks to the dosing tip, the tonic can be applied with pinpoint precision. It absorbs quickly and nourishes the skin directly where your horse rubs.

The formula combines moisturizing ingredients tailored to the needs of sensitive horse skin. Chamomile and basil are two of the main ingredients and are known in skincare for their soothing properties. Basil additionally nourishes the hair root and thus contributes to well-cared-for, supple long hair.

On hot summer days, the tonic moisturizes the mane, tail, and the skin underneath and protects them from drying out.

The Hestakofi Anti-Rubbing Tonic is free from silicones, paraffins, phthalates, microplastics, mineral oil, parabens, PEGs, as well as synthetic fragrances and colorants. This way, it cares without unnecessarily burdening the skin.
